Tomorrow Foundation at MEDays 2025: Empowering Youth & Women in Africa’s New Global Equation

November 2025 Tangiers, Morocco

Under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Tomorrow Foundation was invited to take part in the 17th Edition of the MEDays Forum in Tangier (26–29 November 2025), a major gathering that brought together more than 300 speakers and 8,500 participants from 120+ countries. As a long-standing partner of the Amadeus Institute, the Foundation contributed to strategic discussions shaping the future of Africa within an evolving global landscape.

Investing in Africa’s Next Generation

Tomorrow Foundation President Maggie Gu participated in the session “Invest in Education & Innovation: Empowering Africa’s Next Generation.” She highlighted Africa’s youth as the continent’s most important asset and stressed that education must evolve from a focus on access to a focus on problem-solving, creativity, and digital readiness. Her intervention underscored the need for stronger collaboration between universities, businesses, and governments to translate ideas into innovations. Presenting the Foundation’s “AI Education for All” vision, she argued that artificial intelligence can become a tool of inclusion—providing multilingual, accessible learning and advancing Africa’s digital sovereignty.

Championing Women’s Leadership

Maggie Gu also spoke in the panel “Women at the Helm: Leadership, Resilience & Economic Influence.” She emphasized that women are not simply participating in leadership spaces—they are reshaping them, bringing resilience, systemic thinking, and empathy to decision-making. Yet structural barriers persist: limited visibility, restricted access to finance, and policy gaps. She called for stronger women’s networks, supportive legal frameworks, and deliberate sponsorship from current leaders to ensure that women can access influential spaces and drive economic transformation.

A Shared Commitment to the Global South

In his closing letter, Forum President Brahim Fassi Fihri thanked Tomorrow Foundation for its valuable contribution to what he described as a forum that has become “a vector of political influence and a laboratory of strategic solutions for the Global South.”

Through its presence at MEDays 2025, the Tomorrow Foundation reaffirmed its dedication to digital innovation, and women’s economic leadership. As Tomorrow Foundation continues to scale initiatives such as Her Startup and its broader digital learning programs, participation in MEDays reinforces its role as a trusted partner and thought leader in shaping Africa’s future within the emerging global balance.
