Empowering Future Leaders: Isaac Kojo Yedonu Aboah's Journey with Tomorrow Foundation

September 2023 London

At Tomorrow Foundation, we believe in the power of opportunities and the potential of young leaders.

Our collaboration with Isaac began when we sponsored his participation at the UNFCCC's Conference of Parties in Glasgow (COP26). During this event, Isaac connected with Subbu Loganathan from the Commonwealth Human Ecology Council (CHEC), a UK-based charity focused on sustainability.

Isaac's dedication and passion led him to be appointed by CHEC to its governing board as its youngest member in December 2022. Following that, Isaac represented CHEC at the Commonwealth People's Forum in Rwanda and also at the 10th Commonwealth Youth Ministers Meeting held at Marlborough House in London from September 11-15, 2023. The meeting contributes to broader social and sustainable development goals from a youth development perspective. Chaired by the Government of Pakistan, it brought together Youth Ministers, senior government officials, youth representatives, youth workers and other stakeholders from across the Commonwealth. The event included key discussions and decisions with ministerial outcome statement, roundtable meetings, and country specific commitments. Through these discussions on youth engagement, digital transformation, and climate activism, Isaac's voice continued to resonate with the aspirations of many young leaders.

Tomorrow Foundation is honoured to have played a role in Isaac's journey, and it's stories like his that inspire us to continue our mission. To every young leader out there, remember: Your voice matters, and together, we can make
a difference.
